Judging Criteria

Award entries are reviewed and scored by three judges. Judges will not score an entry submitted by their own chapter. Entries are grouped and evaluated by chapter size and category. A total of 20 points can be given for each question below and is based on the following rubric:

  • (1-5) Poor                 Didn’t effectively answer the question
  • (6-10) Fair                 Answered the question
  • (11-15) Good             Answered the question with more detail
  • (16-20) Excellent       Went above and beyond with proven results and visible data

*One award for each chapter size category will be awarded in each achievement area. Chapters scoring 80% or better in four out of five achievement areas will receive an Excellence Award. Membership awards will also be awarded by chapter size based on best net growth and best net retention statistics.

Award winners will be recognized in Las Vegas at the CAI Annual Conference and Exposition.
